This video is getting a lot of praise from everyone, people are saluting the spirit of the lady inspector. So, where is this video from and who is this lady police inspector?
This video is from TP Chhatram area of Chennai. It is worth noting that these days life in Chennai is disturbed due to heavy rains and common people are suffering. According to reports, due to heavy rains, the city is flooded everywhere and trees are falling down at many places.
Similarly, a 28-year-old man was lying unconscious near the graveyard in TP Chhatram area. Around the same time, Rajeshwari came out of her police station at 7 am and suddenly saw him. And Rajeshwari followed her duty and carried the unconscious man on her shoulders to an autorickshaw and rushed him to the hospital.
The best part is that without waiting for anyone’s help, Rajeshwari herself went ahead to take the person for treatment. She picked up the victim on her shoulders and put him in the auto. During this, she was also talking to the people around her in Tamil.
“After giving first aid, I took the unconscious man to the auto. After that we sent him to the hospital. I also went to the hospital. His mother was also there. I assured them not to worry. The doctor said that the treatment is on and there is nothing to worry.”, Inspector Rajeshwari says to media.
According to local media reports, the name of the unconscious person is Udhaya Kumar. Udaya Kumar used to work in the graveyard and due to ill health, he felt dizzy. But, with the help of Inspector Rajeshwari, he is undergoing treatment at the hospital and is fine now.
After this incident, people are praising Rajeshwari a lot. From social media to administrative circles, everyone is full of praise for her. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has also honored her.
Justice N Anand Venkatesh of Madras High Court invited Inspector of Police Rajeswari, who carried a man in need of medical assistance on her shoulders during rain related rescue work in Chennai, to the court and handed over an appreciation letter to her.
“Inspector Rajeshwari has done excellent work. She herself lifted an unconscious man who was fighting for life & sent him to a hospital. Treatment is on, he’s alright. She has been an excellent officer. All the kudos go to her.”, Chennai Police Commissioner Shankar Jiwal said.
IPS officer Krishnaraj R, who worked with Rajeshwari in Chennai and is currently the SP, Tenkasi district of Tamil Nadu, also praised him and wrote on social media, “Proud of you Inspector Rajeshwari and proud to say that we worked together in Chennai City Police. You have always motivated people around.”
