New Delhi: The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has announced a significant reshuffle involving over a dozen senior officers in the ranks of Principal Chief Commissioner (PCC), Principal Director General (PDG), Chief Commissioner (CC), and Director General (DG) of Customs and Indirect Taxes. The transfer and posting orders, issued on July 17, include multiple promotions, in-situ postings, and key inter-zone transfers aimed at strengthening leadership and operational efficiency across various Customs and GST zones.

Promotions to Principal Chief Commissioner and In-Situ Postings
Several officers have been elevated to the rank of Principal Chief Commissioner and posted in-situ at their current assignments. These include:

- Rimjhim Prasad — Director General of Performance Management (DGPM)
- Rajesh Jindal — Director General of Systems & Data Management
- Rajeev Gupta — CGST & Central Excise (CX), Vadodara Zone
- Simmi Jain — Director General of Audit
- Promotions to Chief Commissioner and In-Situ Postings
- The following officers have been promoted to Chief Commissioner, continuing in their current postings:
- Shubhagata Kumar — Director General of Human Resource Development (DGHRD) (HRM)

Key Transfers Across Zones
Madan Mohan Singh has been transferred from Customs Zone, Kolkata, to Chief Commissioner, CGST & CX Chennai Zone.
Arti A Srinivas has been moved from Director General of Systems & Data Management to Chief Commissioner, Directorate General of Audit and Risk Management (DGARM).
