Bhopal: Reaffirming the state government’s focus on employment and industrial growth, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has announced the Bhoomi Pujan of five new industrial units in the Acharpura Industrial Area of Bhopal district on July 24. These projects, worth over ₹400 crore, are expected to generate 1,500 jobs, contributing significantly to local employment and economic development.
Five Units, ₹400 Cr Investment, 1,500 Jobs
The upcoming units, to be developed over 12.88 hectares, span key sectors such as textiles, electronics, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture equipment. The five industrial units include:
- Gokuldas Exports – Garment Sector
- Indo Accord Apparels – Textile Manufacturing
- Asedas Private Limited – High-Tech Electronics
- Sinai Health Care – Pharmaceuticals
- Samarth Agritech – Agricultural Equipment
These investments not only promise direct employment but also offer opportunities for local skill development, ancillary businesses, and women’s workforce participation.
2025 Declared as Year of Industry and Employment
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasized that 2025 has been declared as the Year of Industry and Employment in Madhya Pradesh. “We are entering a new industrial era—one that brings prosperity from villages to cities and plays a crucial role in building a self-reliant India (Atmanirbhar Bharat),” he said.
He highlighted that during his recent investment trip to Spain and Dubai, he actively encouraged foreign investors to explore opportunities in Madhya Pradesh. The state has since received investment proposals exceeding ₹11,000 crore, boosting hopes for massive job creation and sectoral growth.
Empowering Youth and Sisters
Reiterating his government’s commitment to inclusive employment, the Chief Minister stated, “Our government is fully committed to generating employment opportunities for youth and sisters. These efforts are not symbolic—they are concrete steps toward creating sustainable livelihoods, particularly for local communities.”
Industrial Growth Driving Local Prosperity
The Acharpura project reflects the government’s strategic push to develop regional industrial clusters that provide opportunities close to home, minimizing migration and creating employment corridors that span from agrarian hubs to urban growth centers.
