Delhi : 19 IPS and 4 DANIPS transferred

In a major reshuffle 19 IPS and DANIPS officers in the national capital. The transfer and posting order was issued by Delhi Lieutenant Governor (L-G) VK Saxena on Thursday. In a major reshuffle 19 IPS and DANIPS officers in the national capital. The transfer and posting order was issued by Delhi Lieutenant Governor (L-G) VK Saxena on Thursday.

A 2001 batch IPS Sindhu Pillai has been appointed as joint commissioner of the Economic Offences Wing, while 2010 batch IPS officer Rajender Singh Sagar has been made the DCP of the First Battalion.

Additional DCP northwest Apoorva Gupta who is a 2013 batch IPS officer, has become the DCP of Railways.

Sachin Sharma who is a 2014 batch IPS officer is now additional DCP central district. He was previously additional DCP east district. Shashank Jaiswal of the same batch is the new additional DCP east district.

2014 batch IPS officer Surendra Choudharywill take the charge of additional DCP Dwarka and Sandhya Swami of 2016 batch has been promoted to additional DCP of the northeast district from additional DCP 2.

Harsh Indora of 2016 batch has become additional DCP southeast. Earlier, He was additional DCP 2 Shahdara district. Besides them four DANIPS officers have also given new charge.
