Ganjam: In a landmark initiative aimed at supporting aspiring civil servants, the Ganjam district administration has launched a free coaching programme for students preparing for IAS, OAS, OPSC, UPSC, OSSC, and OSSSC examinations. The programme, unveiled on Saturday by Ganjam District Collector V. Keerthi Vasan, seeks to nurture local talent and provide quality guidance to deserving candidates.
“Ganjam Lakshya Niketan”: Free Coaching Programme Details
The newly announced initiative, named “Ganjam Lakshya Niketan,” is designed to identify and train talented students from across the district while reducing the financial burden of expensive coaching institutes.

Guidance by Serving IAS and OAS Officers
Selected candidates will benefit from mentorship and coaching provided by serving IAS and OAS officers currently posted in Ganjam. Officers will share personal exam preparation strategies, insights into administrative work, and practical guidance for competitive examinations.
Collector V. Keerthi Vasan said, “In the first phase, we will organise an integrated preparatory course for OPSC and UPSC aspirants. The initiative is designed to guide candidates from our district through a well-structured mentorship module.”
This hands-on guidance from experienced officers is expected to give aspirants a significant edge in competitive exams.
