In a powerful address at the Collectors‑Commissioners Conference held in Bhopal, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav described the meeting as a “fruitful brainstorming session” that will accelerate implementation of good governance in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India. He affirmed that Madhya Pradesh is already seeing innovation across sectors—from metropolitan development to rural education and state‑level infrastructure.

Governance Innovations So Far: Air Ambulance, Drone Use, River Linking
CM Yadav recounted progress over the past two years:
- Launch of a state air ambulance service
- Ministerial district‑level speeches on development themes every Independence Day
- Breaking bureaucratic barriers to advance Ken‑Betwa and Parvati Kali Sindh river linking projects
- Promotion of drone technology, e‑registration, and tourism air services
- These steps, he said, are building a modern, responsive state machinery.
CM Issues Bold Directives to District Heads
At the culmination of Day 1, the Chief Minister provided detailed instructions and expectations for all Collectors, Commissioners, and other senior officials to ensure that state ambitions translate into deliverables:
- Districts must shape a five‑year plan under Vision‑2047
- Collectors, CEOs, SPs, DFOs should form integrated teams for district development
- Officials must stay overnight in rural areas to understand local challenges
- CM Helpline complaint resolution must be expedited
- No laxity in public hearings; citizen feedback must be respected
- Maintain constant dialogue with local elected representatives
- Embrace continuous innovation in district administration
- Identify and improve underperforming schemes
- Expedite Geeta Bhawan scheme, which nurtures social harmony in cities
- Review SADA (Special Area Development Authority) work
- Accelerate signing and implementation of industry MoUs
- Clear and repurpose land of defunct mills quickly
- Promote religious tourism in every district
- Focus on small and cottage industries as growth engines
- Simplify land acquisition processes
- Continue the Revenue Campaign—over 18 million cases resolved since January 24
- Scale Bhavantar Yojana registration—currently 150,000 farmers enrolled
- Promote organic and natural farming, horticulture, rose cultivation, drip irrigation
- Mandate weekly markets for organic produce
- Strengthen hospital inspections, encourage PPP models for private medical college expansion
- Intensify malnutrition control, coordinate between Health and Women & Child Development
- Improve urban transport, build flyovers, and resolve illegal colonies

CM Yadav stressed that these directives are not symbolic but meant to be operational. He expects senior officers to translate policy into action on the ground, ensuring that urban and rural balance, citizen welfare, and economic growth advance together.
He underlined that Madhya Pradesh must not just chase headline projects but deliver improvement in day‑to‑day lives—from roads and education to health and livelihoods.
