There will be no crowd in the Municipal Corporation office for the birth certificate from next month. People sitting at home will get birth certificate. The Municipal Corporation was working in this direction and it is expected that by the month of March, all the records will be uploaded on the website of the Municipal Corporation and online system will be started. Till now people have to come to the office to apply for birth certificate. But as soon as this system starts, people can apply for birth certificate online with the necessary documents. If there is any error in the documents or if any other document is required, then the applicant will get its information online. In fact, like other cities, Banaras has also joined the Uttar Pradesh government’s E-Nagarseva and Darpan App.
For this, the government had sought a proposal from the Municipal Corporation with all the documents. A few days ago, the government has included the department in this list. The monitoring of both these apps is done from the Chief Minister’s Office.
