In a major encouragement to Telangana’s growing pool of civil service aspirants, Chief Minister Mr. Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Bhatti Vikramarka congratulated the 43 candidates from the state who cleared the UPSC Civil Services Main Examination 2025 and qualified for the interview stage. The announcement marks yet another milestone in the state’s youth-centric governance model.
Rs. 1 Lakh Support for Interview Preparation
Chief Minister Mr. Revanth Reddy applauded the candidates for their achievement and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting ambitious youth. He announced that all 43 candidates who cleared the UPSC Mains will receive an additional incentive of Rs. 1 lakh to prepare for the interview stage.
He highlighted that the government’s Rajiv Gandhi Civil Services Abhaya Hastam Scheme, implemented this year, has already benefitted 202 candidates with financial assistance of Rs. 1 lakh each for their civil services preparation. Out of them, 43 have now successfully progressed to the interview phase.
Telangana’s Talent Rising: Deputy CM Praises Youth Performance
Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Bhatti Vikramarka praised the outstanding performance, calling it a reflection of Telangana’s expanding talent pool and the government’s dedicated push toward youth empowerment. He shared that since the launch of the scheme, 342 young aspirants have received financial aid amounting to Rs. 3.62 crore through Singareni Collieries Company Limited.
He added that the scheme offers Rs. 1 lakh for both the UPSC Mains and Interview stages, along with government-provided accommodation in Delhi for interview candidates. This infrastructural support aims to ease financial pressure and foster equality of opportunity.
Abhaya Hastam Scheme Shows Early Success
Launched in 2024, the Rajiv Gandhi Civil Services Abhaya Hastam Scheme has already produced encouraging results. In its first implementation cycle, 140 candidates cleared the main examination, 20 reached the interview stage, and seven were eventually selected for the services—now serving in key administrative roles across the country.
According to officials, the scheme has become a strong pillar for aspirants, especially those from economically weak backgrounds who previously struggled to afford coaching and accommodation.
Government’s Mission: No Talent Left Behind
Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Vikramarka reaffirmed that the government will continue expanding opportunities and support systems for deserving youth. He emphasized that financial challenges should never obstruct the dreams of talented individuals wanting to serve the nation through civil services.
The Telangana government’s policies aim to build a robust and inclusive ecosystem that empowers young people to compete nationally and secure positions in India’s top administrative institutions.
