On February 28th, the government of Delhi (UT) decided to disburden the 2012 batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, Dr. Sonal Swaroop, from her designation as the Special Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor.
Under the transfer and posting orders issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Officer Swaroop was relieved of her duties in the national capital to enable her to serve from Arunachal Pradesh. Dr. Swaroop had earlier served as the Deputy Commissioner of the South Delhi Municipal Corporation.
