IAS Smita Sarangi Got Extension As Director in Cabinet Secretariat

The central deputation tenure of 2008 batch IAS officer Smita Sarangi, who is working as Director in the Cabinet Secretariat, has been extended for a period of two years.

2008 batch IAS officer of Nagaland cadre, Ms Smita Sarangi’s central deputation tenure has been extended for a period of two years. She is serving as Director in the Cabinet Secretariat.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on 17.02.2022, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal to extend deputation tenure of Ms. Sarangi under Central Staffing Scheme for a period of two years beyond 29.07.2023 and up to 29.07.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
