Senior Indian Forest Service officer V Srinivasa Rao has been promoted and appointed as the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) of Chhattisgarh. On Monday, the state government issued an order to grant him full charge of this important position. Before this appointment, he served as the Incharge PCCF since May 2, after taking over from the incumbent PCCF Sanjay Shukla (IFS:1987:CG) following his voluntary retirement from service.
