Lucknow: The Yogi Adityanath government’s focused strategy and continuous monitoring have significantly accelerated the pace of revenue case disposal across Uttar Pradesh. As per the latest Revenue Court Computerized Management System (RCCMS) report for October 2025, Lucknow has emerged as the top-performing district in overall revenue case resolution, while Jaunpur continues its dominance in district-level court performance for the 13th consecutive month.
Yogi Govt’s Monitoring Drives Speedy Revenue Justice
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s direct monitoring of revenue courts through monthly reviews and a district-wise performance tracking system has yielded tangible results. Officials have been instructed to prioritize the resolution of long-pending cases to ensure speedy justice, transparency, and accountability in governance.
Following the CM’s directives, district magistrates across the state have intensified their focus on time-bound case disposal. This initiative is part of the broader governance reform drive aimed at reducing administrative delays and strengthening citizen-centric service delivery.
Lucknow Leads in Revenue Case Resolution
According to the RCCMS October 2025 report, a total of 3,24,897 revenue cases were resolved across Uttar Pradesh.
Lucknow led the state with 15,260 cases resolved, followed by:
- Prayagraj: 10,501 cases
- Gorakhpur: 8,165 cases
- Kanpur Nagar: 7,866 cases
- Shahjahanpur: 7,707 cases
Lucknow District Magistrate Visak G. Iyer attributed the achievement to effective teamwork, technology-based monitoring, and consistent follow-up by the revenue department.
Jaunpur Maintains Top Spot in District-Level Court Performance
While Lucknow led in total disposals, Jaunpur once again ranked first in district-level court performance — a position it has maintained for 13 consecutive months.
Jaunpur DM Dr. Dinesh Chandra Singh said that the district’s focus remains aligned with the Chief Minister’s directives to deliver swift justice.
According to the RCCMS report of the Board of Revenue, five revenue courts in Jaunpur surpassed the benchmark of 250 cases per month, collectively disposing of 480 cases — a performance rate of 192%.
Lakhimpur Kheri secured the second position by disposing of 334 cases (111%), followed by Basti with 310 cases (103%).
Performance Across District Magistrate and ADM (Land Revenue) Courts
In District Magistrate Courts, Jaunpur topped the state by achieving 236.67% of the prescribed benchmark, disposing of 71 cases against a standard of 30. Bhadohi ranked second with 63 cases, and Mau third with 51 cases.
In the Additional District Magistrate (Land Revenue) category, Jaunpur led again by resolving 184 cases against a target of 50. Ghazipur followed with 36 cases, and Mirzapur stood third with 24 cases.
Reform-Driven Governance Showing Results
The Yogi government’s consistent review mechanism, digital monitoring through RCCMS, and accountability-driven approach have created a strong framework for resolving revenue disputes faster.
Officials said the state’s performance reflects both administrative efficiency and a commitment to citizen-centric justice delivery — hallmarks of the Yogi administration’s governance model.
