Located over 60.0630 hectares in Umaria village of Gauharganj tehsil in Raisen, the facility is expected to generate direct and indirect employment for over 1,500 individuals, and provide a significant boost to ancillary industries in Bhopal and Raisen.

Tribal Prosperity through PM Mitra Park in Dhar

CM Dr. Yadav further revealed that Prime Minister Modi will perform the Bhoomi Pujan for the PM Mitra Park in Dhar on August 25. This Rs. 2,000 crore textile-focused industrial park is expected to provide over one lakh employment opportunities in the tribal region and boost the Swadeshi movement by focusing on the production and export of readymade garments.

The park will also ensure that cotton farmers from Dhar, Jhabua, Ratlam, and Nimar regions receive fair prices for their produce, and cotton exports from the state will further strengthen local agriculture-linked economies. The Chief Minister stated that this initiative marks a major step in industrializing Madhya Pradesh’s tribal belt.

Global Investors Summit Results in Historic Investment Commitments

Highlighting the state’s rising investment profile, Dr. Yadav noted that the recent Global Investors Summit in Bhopal attracted investment commitments worth Rs. 30.77 lakh crore. This has created a robust environment of industrial development across the state, encouraging both domestic and foreign investors to set up industries.

Independence Day Celebrations Focused on Patriotism and Swadeshi

As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan, Independence Day celebrations from August 2 to 15 will be marked by extensive public engagement activities. Dr. Yadav said the campaign, in its fourth consecutive year, aims to deepen patriotic sentiment and promote Swadeshi values, especially among youth.

Special programs will include Tiranga Yatras, exhibitions, music events, school competitions, and large-scale hoisting of the national flag. The campaign also integrates cleanliness and self-reliance themes. A target of arranging 1 crore tricolours across the state has been set.

In a unique gesture of gratitude, Rakhis will be sent by women to soldiers under Operation Sindoor, symbolizing the state’s collective respect for the armed forces.

Live Broadcast of State-Level Independence Day Program

This year, for the first time, the state-level Independence Day event in Bhopal will be broadcast live across all districts. During this, district ministers will hoist the national flag and present updates on government welfare schemes, ensuring all citizens are informed of ongoing development initiatives.

Balaram Jayanti Celebrations on August 14 in Mandla

State-Level Janmashtami Event on August 16

A grand state-level celebration is planned on August 16 to mark Shri Krishna Janmashtami. The government is actively working to promote religious tourism by developing key sites associated with Lord Krishna’s life in Madhya Pradesh.

Notable locations include:

  • Ujjain, where Shri Krishna received education,
  • Janapav near Indore, where Lord Parshuram gifted him the Sudarshan Chakra,
  • Amjhera, associated with Krishna-Rukmani’s story, and
  • Narayana, linked to the Krishna-Sudama narrative.

Through these spiritual connections, the government aims to turn Madhya Pradesh into a hub of Krishna devotion comparable to Gokul-Vrindavan.

Rs. 1500 Rakshabandhan Gift for Laadli Sisters

On the occasion of Rakshabandhan, the Chief Minister announced that the government has transferred Rs. 1,500 to each Laadli Behna (sister), including a Rs. 250 bonus as a festive gift in the month of Saavan.
