New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Mohit Soni as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs and Power, Manohar Lal, in the Ministry of Power.
According to an official order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Soni, a private individual, has been appointed on a contract basis at the level of Deputy Secretary. His appointment will be effective for a period of four years from the date of assuming charge, or co-terminus with the Minister, whichever comes first, or until further orders.
This new appointment marks a significant step in the administrative structure of the Ministry of Power, where Soni’s expertise will aid the Minister in his duties and responsibilities.
