Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav addressed the Panchjanya Sushaasan Samvad 2.0 event, where he outlined the state’s new development initiatives focused on employment, investment, education, and farmer empowerment through solar energy solutions. He emphasized the government’s goal of fostering self-reliance among farmers by providing solar pumps and strengthening basic amenities across the state.
‘Panchjanya’ a Symbol of Guidance and Dharmic Duty: CM Yadav
During his address, CM Yadav described Panchjanya as a symbol of timely guidance and adherence to the path of dharma. He said the magazine serves as a strong carrier of Indian thought tradition and continues to perform its role with responsibility.
He recalled that Lord Krishna always carried the Panchjanya conch and Sudarshan Chakra, both representing the uniqueness of his personality. Yadav said it was a matter of pride that Krishna’s values and intellectual grounding were shaped by the teachings of the Sandipani Ashram in Ujjain.
At the event, RSS Sah-Karyavah (Central Region) Hemant Muktibodh, Prant Sanghchalak Ashok Pandey, and Panchjanya editor Hitesh Shankar felicitated the Chief Minister and presented him with a special edition of the magazine. Several dignitaries, including Vijay Manohar Tiwari, Vice-Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi University; Dr. Praveen Reddy, Director of Vivekanand Health Mission Society; and Abhishek Garg, Managing Director of DBG Technology, were also honoured.
Commitment to Social Harmony and Cultural Celebration
CM Yadav stated that bringing positive change to the lives of the poor remains the primary objective of the state government. Improving governance through administrative reforms and enhancing the well-being of citizens remains central to their agenda.
He noted that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Madhya Pradesh has implemented several innovations. The state has launched a river-linking initiative in collaboration with Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra to ensure equitable distribution of natural resources.
To strengthen cultural consciousness in educational institutions, the government has renamed university vice chancellors as ‘Kulaguru’. The state has also introduced a new tradition of celebrating festivals such as Guru Purnima and Gita Jayanti together with the public to promote a joyful and festive atmosphere across society.
Focus on Basic Infrastructure, Renewable Energy and Farmer Empowerment
The Chief Minister reiterated his government’s commitment to providing better basic infrastructure to residents of Madhya Pradesh. He highlighted that solar energy pumps are being installed across the state to empower farmers and promote clean, green energy.
The savings generated from reduced subsidy expenditure are being redirected toward other development projects. Yadav said schemes such as the Bhavantar Scheme, Ladli Behna Yojana, and youth employment initiatives are ensuring that farmers, women, and young people receive maximum government support.
Expansion of Medical, Agricultural, and Industrial Opportunities
The state has initiated several projects in PPP mode, including new medical colleges, agriculture-based courses, and large industrial zones such as the PM Mitra Park, which are creating significant employment and education opportunities.
The government is also developing metropolitan regions and has approved the Metropolitan Planning and Development Act 2025 to support urban growth and modernization.
