Indore: On Sunday, March 29, 2026, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the Launchpad Incubation & Innovation Center at Singhasa IT Park in Indore, emphasizing Madhya Pradesh’s vision to become a hub for startups and innovation by 2047. The initiative aims to empower youth, promote technology-driven entrepreneurship, and foster collaboration between industry and academia.
Driving Startup Culture and Innovation
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Yadav highlighted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Madhya Pradesh is rapidly advancing on the path of development. He said the state’s youth are actively converting their ideas into technology-driven startups, particularly leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The CM urged young innovators to adopt modern technologies, launch startups, and become job creators, reinforcing that knowledge and innovation are the key measures of success in today’s rapidly changing world.

Inspection of Advanced Technologies
During the launch event, Dr. Yadav inspected the state-of-the-art machines developed by youth at the new center. He expressed happiness at witnessing young entrepreneurs’ innovative ideas and said that the center, whose foundation stone was laid last year, is a testament to the modern thinking and creativity of Madhya Pradesh’s youth.
Engagement with Startup Entrepreneurs
The Chief Minister interacted with young entrepreneurs who have started their ventures, learning about the sectors they are working in. He encouraged them, stating that with the right intent, success is achievable in any endeavor.
Collaboration Between Industry and Academia
The center was established through a joint initiative of IITI Drishti CPS Foundation, Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (MPSEDC), and the Department of Science and Technology.
According to Director Subhash S. Joshi of the Indian Institute of Management Indore, the center aims to:
- Promote deep-tech innovation
- Support high-impact startups
- Strengthen Madhya Pradesh’s capabilities in advanced manufacturing and emerging technologies
- Foster industry-academia collaboration
Encouraging Youth Employment and Modern Thinking
Dr. Yadav also interacted with entrepreneurs from various IT and technology companies, urging them to provide opportunities for youth and expand employment avenues. He emphasized that India, with its innovative and modern thinking youth, is emerging as the fourth-largest economy in the world.

The event was attended by Water Resources Minister Tulsi Ram Silawat, Indore Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava, MLA Ramesh Mendola, along with other dignitaries including Malini Gaud, Mahendra Hardia, Golu Shukla, Madhu Verma, Usha Thakur, Manoj Patel, Sawan Sonkar, Sumit Mishra, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Sudam Khade, Police Commissioner Santosh Kumar Singh, Collector Shivam Verma, and Municipal Commissioner Kshitij Singhal.
