Bhopal: In a major boost to entrepreneurship and industrial growth in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Monday released over ₹169.57 crore to more than 250 MSME units and provided the first installment of ₹28.6 lakh as incentives to 286 startups. The CM also handed over industrial land allotment letters and letters of intent to selected entrepreneurs, signaling strong government support for the state’s industrial ecosystem.
Boosting MSMEs and Startups in Madhya Pradesh
The initiative, held at the CM Residence in Bhopal, was organized under the theme “Empowered MSME, Developed Madhya Pradesh”. The government’s single-click fund transfer system ensured transparency and ease in releasing incentives.
Dr. Yadav emphasized that MSMEs form the backbone of industrial activity and provide livelihood to millions of families, stating that the state government is committed to simplifying access to capital, land, and processes for entrepreneurs.
Industrial Land Allocation and Incentives
During the event, the CM presented industrial land allotment letters to three entrepreneurs from Betul and Agar-Malwa, alongside benefits under the Chief Minister Udhyam Kranti Scheme.
MSME, Small & Medium Enterprises Minister Chaitanya Kumar Kashyap handed over an interim dividend cheque of ₹8 crore from the Small Industries Corporation to the CM, reflecting the government’s proactive support for industrial development.
Financial Strength and Investor-Friendly Policies
Dr. Yadav highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s status as one of India’s top three financially strong and well-managed states. He assured that the government will continue providing guidance, incentives, and a conducive environment for investors, stating that the state’s doors remain open to national and international investments.
The CM also linked the event with Mahavir Jayanti, noting that the initiative reflects principles of public welfare and transparency inspired by Lord Mahavir.
Industrial Development and Startups in Madhya Pradesh
According to Principal Secretary Raghvendra Kumar Singh, digital and transparent procedures have accelerated industrial land allotment. Currently, Madhya Pradesh has over 7,100 registered startups, with development ongoing in 25 industrial areas, and six new industrial regions under construction to further strengthen the state’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
