Ratlam: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized Madhya Pradesh‘s transformation under the vision of a “New India,” asserting that just as the nation is changing rapidly, Madhya Pradesh is equally embracing innovation and development. Addressing the Regional Industry, Skill and Employment (RISE) Conclave in Ratlam on Friday, he announced a major boost to industrialization and self-employment, positioning Ratlam as a future hub of startups, skills, and scale.

Major Investment Inflow and Job Creation
The Conclave received investment proposals worth Rs. 30,402 crore, promising to generate 35,520 new jobs. CM Yadav highlighted Ratlam’s transition from a city known for sev, sarees, and gold, to one now identified with scale, skill, and startups. Emphasizing connectivity, he said air cargo services would soon be launched, making trade more efficient for businesses in Madhya Pradesh.

Key Infrastructure Announcements
Dr. Yadav announced multiple infrastructure projects including:
- Green incentives for MSMEs establishing renewable energy plants.
- Rs. 50 lakh per Gram Panchayat for community infrastructure in six villages of Ratlam’s proposed mega investment region.
- Construction of a 220 KV power line in the industrial region of Ratlam.
- Development of an airstrip and an international-standard astro turf hockey ground at Ratlam’s Polo Ground.
- Satellite town development around the Kalika Mata campus.
Boost to Self-Employment and MSME Sector
The CM transferred Rs. 3,861 crore to over 4.15 lakh self-employed beneficiaries. Additional highlights:
- Rs. 425 crore disbursed to 140 industrial units.
- Land allotment letters to 538 MSME units.
- Rs. 270 crore incentives given to 288 MSME units.
- Rs. 2,012 crore sanctioned for 94 industrial clusters.

New Industrial Zones and Infrastructure
The following new developments were initiated:
- 10 State Clusters and Alirajpur CFC launched over 73.43 hectares at Rs. 104 crore.
- Semri Kankar Industrial Area in Mandsaur on 80.26 hectares at Rs. 61.26 crore.
- New DTIC offices inaugurated in Niwari, Agar Malwa, and Raisen.
- 263 youth received job offer letters during the conclave.
MoUs and Publications Launched
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the MSME Department and Walmart, ensuring better market connectivity for local entrepreneurs. CM Yadav also released:
- A handbook on successful entrepreneurs,
- An ITI & Industry Connect magazine,
- The Yuva Sangam brochure.
Vision for Future Industrial Growth
CM Yadav noted that under PM Modi’s leadership, Madhya Pradesh has seen a transformation in industrial climate with Rs. 30.77 lakh crore worth of investments and 21 lakh jobs created through the Global Investors Summit. He mentioned that the state now has:
- 340+ Industrial Areas,
- 5 SEZs, 2 Spice Parks, and several Food Parks,
- A robust land bank and power surplus,
- Rapid progress in textile, leather, pharma, IT, and ESDM sectors.
Industrialist Participation and Support
15 top industrialists engaged in one-on-one meetings with the CM, expressing enthusiasm for investing in the state. These included representatives from Shakti Pumps, Jackson Group, Biba Fashion, and SRF Limited. Mr. Prashant Mehra of SRF praised MP’s pro-industry environment and pledged further investment of Rs. 9,500 crore, employing 4,000 people.
Sectoral Sessions
Three sectoral sessions were conducted on:
- Investment and Ease of Doing Business (DIPIP),
- MSME acceleration,
- Skill and Technology Education.
Statewide Industrial Momentum
BJP State President Mr. V.D. Sharma lauded Dr. Yadav’s leadership, stating that the Regional Industry Conclaves are shaping a balanced and inclusive development model. He emphasized the growing confidence of investors in Madhya Pradesh’s evolving business ecosystem.
CM Yadav concluded by stating that wherever the government hosts a conclave, it also ensures that the foundation of new industries is laid. He described the RISE Conclave as a unique platform to nurture new entrepreneurs and committed to continuing efforts to make Madhya Pradesh a leading industrial state in the country.
