Amidst a recent development, the government of India mandated four senior Indian Foreign Service (IFS) to assume charge as ambassadors to the republics of Ukraine, Jordan, Cameroon, and the Philippines.
They are:
- Mr. Ravi Shankar (1995 batch IFS), presently Additional Secretary – Ministry of External Affairs, became the Ambassador of India to Ukraine.
- Mr. Harsh Kumar Jain (1993 batch IFS), the incumbent Ambassador of India to Ukraine, was appointed as the Indian Ambassador to the Republic of the Philippines.
- Mr. Manish Chauhan (1994 batch IFS), presently the Indian Ambassador to Portugal, became India’s Ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
- Mr. Vijay Khanduja (2004 batch), presently Ambassador of India to the Republic of Zimbabwe, became the High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Cameroon.
