- Applicants must hold a valid disability certificate issued by a District Medical Board and come from a family with no member employed in any government aided institution
Seamless Direct Benefit Transfer

- Disability certificate
- Age proof
- Aadhaar card
- Voter ID (if over 18)
- Bank passbook copy
Inclusion of Sickle Cell Patients
In Khunti district, the scheme has been extended to persons with severe sickle cell anemia (≥40%), following diagnostic screening for over 99,000 individuals. Initial pensions have been disbursed to nine identified beneficiaries.
Awareness & Beneficiary Verification
Despite its impact, awareness remains limited—half the state’s population reportedly remains uninformed about SVNSPY. Authorities are actively verifying eligible beneficiaries and encouraging online/offline registration to include missed applicants.
Why It Matters
SVNSPY aligns with Jharkhand’s broader social security goals—offering financial support to differently-abled residents excluded from other schemes. It strengthens social inclusion and helps address gaps in accessing care and livelihood.
