New Delhi: In a major step toward strengthening India’s innovation ecosystem, NITI Aayog today unveiled its comprehensive report titled “Pathways to Progress: Analysis and Insights into India’s Innovation Story.” The report presents an in-depth analysis of the country’s journey in science, technology, and innovation, offering valuable insights into achievements, challenges, and opportunities that lie ahead for India as it aspires to become a global innovation leader.
A Holistic Review of India’s Innovation Journey
The report provides a 360-degree view of India’s innovation landscape, covering:
- National and state-level initiatives
- Startup growth and grassroots innovations
- University–industry–government collaborations
- India’s performance in global innovation indices
It outlines a forward-looking roadmap focusing on scaling proven innovation models, promoting deep-tech research, strengthening institutional linkages, and boosting innovation capacities across Indian states.

Key Speakers Highlight India’s Innovation Vision
Dr. Deepak Bagla, Mission Director of Atal Innovation Mission (AIM),

Dr. V.K. Saraswat, Member, NITI Aayog,

Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of Science & Technology,
