Ajmer/Jaipur: Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has officially released the final result for the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) Recruitment Exam 2023. Candidates can now check their results on the commission’s official website at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in

Interviews Concluded, Results Published Online

The interviews for the RAS and Rajasthan Tax Service (RTS) Combined Competitive Exam 2023 were conducted by RPSC starting from April 21st and concluded on Tuesday. A total of 2,168 candidates were shortlisted for interviews based on their performance in earlier examination stages. The final merit list has now been published online in PDF format, listing roll numbers and categories of selected candidates.

Candidates are advised to check their status on the official RPSC portal as no individual communication regarding results will be sent. The merit list details the candidates who will be appointed to the 972 vacant posts.

Appointment and Merit List Details

Appointments will be made strictly as per the merit list published by the commission. The list includes candidates from various categories and districts. Notably –

  • The topper of this recruitment is Kushal Chaudhary from Dungaria Kalan village in Ajmer.
  • Three candidates each from Ajmer and Nagaur districts are among the top 10 rank holders.
  • The top three candidates hail from Ajmer district.
  • Other top candidates come from Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Hanumangarh, and Bikaner.

Recruitment Overview and Examination Statistics

The RPSC announced 972 vacancies for this recruitment on June 28, 2023. The recruitment process began with the preliminary exam held on October 1, 2023, where 4,57,927 candidates appeared. From these, 19,355 candidates qualified for the main examination held on July 20 and 21, 2024.

The result of the main exam was declared on January 2, 2025. The interview round, a crucial final phase, has now concluded with the final result published.

Upcoming RAS 2024 Recruitment and Examination Details

The RPSC is actively conducting the RAS Recruitment 2024 for 1,096 posts. Key dates and facts include –

  • The main examination was conducted on June 17 and 18, 2025.
  • The results for RAS 2024 mains were declared on October 8, 2025.
  • A total of 2,461 candidates have been shortlisted for interviews.
  • The cut-off marks this year were the lowest at 26%, compared to 39.25% and 32.75% in previous years.
  • Cut-off marks for General, OBC, and EWS categories stood at 208.250.
  • The RPSC has announced that interview dates for RAS 2024 will be announced soon.
  • The interview will carry 100 marks and will be a crucial determinant of final selection.

Important Notes by Commission Secretary

Ram Niwas Mehta, Secretary of RPSC, shared the following updates –

  • The candidature of 25 candidates was cancelled due to category revision.
  • Results of 11 candidates have been withheld due to administrative reasons.
  • The results of two candidates are pending final decision from the High Court.
  • The main examination comprised four papers, each carrying 200 marks.
  • The preliminary examination for RAS 2024 was held on February 2, 2025, with 3,75,657 candidates appearing and 21,539 qualifying for the main exam.
  • The main exam was conducted across 77 centers in Ajmer and Jaipur.
