As part of its digital transformation drive, South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) has launched a new Internal Selection Portal aimed at streamlining the selection and promotion process for its employees. The portal was officially unveiled by SECL Chairman-cum-Managing Director Mr. Harish Duhan during the GM’s Coordination Meeting held at SECL Headquarters in Bilaspur.

The digital platform offers a secure login system using a registration number and password, allows users to fill, submit, and track application forms, and includes features such as password reset, account registration, and a “My Applications” tab for real-time status updates. Its user-friendly design enhances the overall experience for employees.
The launch ceremony was attended by key SECL officials including Mr. N. Franklin Jayakumar, Director (Technical/Operations); Mr. Biranchi Das, Director (HR); Mr. D. Sunil Kumar, Director (Finance); and Mr. Himanshu Jain, Chief Vigilance Officer. General Managers from various SECL areas, along with Systems and HR departments, also played a crucial role in the portal’s swift development and rollout.
This initiative marks a significant leap toward transparency, efficiency, and employee empowerment, aligning with SECL’s vision of governance driven by innovation and trust.
