Mumbai: BluPine Energy, one of India’s leading renewable energy developers, has achieved a major milestone by securing 150 MW capacity under SJVN Green Energy Limited’s 1.5 GW (6 GWh) Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) auction. This landmark tender aims to supply assured peak-hour renewable power integrated with energy storage solutions, marking a crucial step toward India’s clean energy transition.

The project was awarded to Solarcraft Power India 16 Pvt. Ltd., BluPine Energy’s special purpose vehicle (SPV), at a competitive tariff of Rs 6.75 per kWh.

Strategic Win to Strengthen Dispatchable Renewable Capacity

Speaking on the development, Mr. Neerav Nanavaty, CEO of BluPine Energy, said, “This win marks another milestone in BluPine Energy’s journey toward building a resilient and dispatchable renewable energy portfolio. As India transitions toward a 24×7 clean power future, projects like these will play a pivotal role in balancing the grid and ensuring reliability without compromising sustainability.”

The awarded capacity will supply firm renewable power during critical peak hours (00:00 to 08:00 and 17:00 to 24:00 daily). This is expected to strengthen grid stability and help utilities meet surging morning and evening demand using clean energy sources.

25-Year PPA Provides Long-Term Visibility

The project is backed by a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), ensuring long-term stability and returns. This not only enhances BluPine Energy’s national renewable portfolio but also supports India’s broader objective of achieving energy security through clean and dispatchable power solutions.

BluPine Energy’s growing portfolio and proven operational capabilities make it a key partner in India’s renewable energy ecosystem. The company plans to deploy advanced storage technologies and hybrid solutions to deliver reliable green power.

BluPine Energy’s Growth Vision

This win further accelerates BluPine Energy’s ambition to build a 4+ GW portfolio of solar, wind, and hybrid projects by FY2027. With a rapidly growing pipeline of solar-wind-storage assets, the company is strategically positioned to support India’s renewable energy goals and help utilities and industries transition toward sustainable power sources.
