1995 batch senior IAS officer Burra Venkatesham, the newly appointed chairman of the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC), will meet with the Chairperson of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Preeti Sudan, and the Chairman of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), S. Gopalakrishnan, in New Delhi on December 18 and 19, respectively.
Accompanied by other members of the TGPSC, Venkatesham aims to engage in talks with Ms. Sudan and the UPSC team to discuss best practices in examination systems, evaluation processes, and selection procedures, with the goal of implementing similar frameworks in TGPSC. The meeting with the SSC chairman will focus on recruitment procedures and potential improvements to the selection process for the state commission.
These discussions are expected to facilitate collaboration and bring about greater efficiency in recruitment practices for public services.
