Emphasis on Innovation, Private Sector Involvement, and Financial Support
The Chief Minister stressed that innovative approaches, better management, and financial coordination are essential. Officials were instructed to adopt revenue-sharing models with private sector participation and use PPP models wherever feasible. CM Yogi highlighted that urban development must improve traffic flow, prioritize pedestrians and public transport, promote green spaces, and preserve local identity. He assured that additional funds will be allocated if required for citizen-centric projects.
Collaboration Between Departments and Local Representatives
The review meeting included video conferencing with Divisional Commissioners of all three regions. Officials and elected representatives discussed detailed plans for each project, ensuring coordination across departments. The government aims to implement an integrated urban development model similar to Ayodhya, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, and Prayagraj, focusing on balanced growth with cultural, historical, and modern infrastructure.
