The Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, has agreed to enhance its teaching methods following recommendations from the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The court had instructed the Centre to explain why the ‘subject of administrative law,’ particularly the principles of natural justice, should not be made a mandatory part of the IAS training curriculum at LBSNAA.
During a video conference with the court, LBSNAA faculty members assured that improvements would be made to the teaching system. “The academy’s faculty has committed to implementing several changes, and a report will be submitted to the additional solicitor general of India within two weeks,” the High Court stated in its order.
