Indian Masterminds Stories

Gorakhpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued strict directives against fraudulent job agents and reviewed security, crowd management, and logistical arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to inaugurate the Rashtra Prerna Sthal in Gorakhpur on December 25, coinciding with the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Strong Action Against Job Fraud

During the Janata Darshan program in Gorakhpur, CM Yogi directed the police to take stringent action against agents who cheat people under the pretext of providing overseas employment. He emphasized that all funds swindled from victims must be recovered, and all offenders identified and prosecuted under the law. The Chief Minister also warned citizens to remain vigilant and avoid unauthorized intermediaries offering foreign jobs, highlighting that illegal attempts to travel abroad could lead to imprisonment.

Addressing Public Grievances

CM Yogi listened to complaints regarding policing, land disputes, and welfare issues, instructing officials to act promptly, fairly, and efficiently. Land encroachment cases are to be addressed immediately to ensure timely relief for affected citizens. He also directed officials to expedite financial assistance for medical treatment requests, ensuring support from the Chief Minister’s discretionary fund.

Preparations for Rashtra Prerna Sthal Inauguration

The Rashtra Prerna Sthal, spanning 65 acres at an estimated cost of Rs 230 crore, will feature 65-foot-tall bronze statues of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, and Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The site includes a modern museum, amphitheatre, meditation and VIP centres, cafeteria, and well-planned civic amenities. The rally ground is designed to accommodate nearly two lakh attendees.

CM Yogi reviewed transport routes, parking, bus movement, entry gates, control rooms, and medical facilities, ensuring smooth logistics for the large gathering. Final works such as landscaping, museum finishing, and amphitheatre beautification are to be completed within the set timeline.

Multi-Layered Security and Crowd Management

The Chief Minister instructed a multi-layered security approach along VVIP routes, the helipad, public areas, and the main venue. Clear signage, traffic diversions, and pedestrian movement plans are to be implemented, ensuring safety and convenience. Departments were directed to work in close coordination for hospitality, media management, cultural programs, and all protocol-related tasks, emphasizing zero tolerance for negligence.

A Tribute to National Leaders

CM Yogi highlighted that the statues and facilities at Rashtra Prerna Sthal will inspire future generations to embrace national unity, Integral Humanism, and the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. The project, dedicated by the Prime Minister, is intended as a symbol of national consciousness and cultural pride.

Through a combination of public grievance redressal, crackdown on fraud, and meticulous preparations for a major national event, CM Yogi Adityanath reinforced his administration’s focus on citizen welfare, law enforcement, and promoting a sense of national pride and historical legacy in Gorakhpur.
