In her tweet, Ms. Sahu wrote, “When duty meets empathy and compassion, it’s pure magic. Dayalan, working in Thuraipakkam Police Station in Chennai, not only rescued several people in recent Chennai floods but also won their hearts with his affable nature. This smiling picture of him holding a baby while rescuing the family is truly heartwarming.”
