It’s women power all the way from Srinagar in the north to Kanyakumari in the south, and Shillong in the East to Gujarat in the West. A team of 150 women CRPF personnel in 75 bikes in three groups started from the north, south and east and will get together to culminate their journey in the west near the Statue of Unity in Gujarat. This grand finale will be held on 31 October and the teams will arrive there after covering 15 states, 2 UTs, and 10,000 km.
When the team that started from Shillong arrived in Bihar’s Munger district, they were greeted by DIG Munger Sanjay Kumar Singh and DIG Muzzafarpur range Sandeep Singh, who then flagged them off again on their onward journey.
