“If someone tries to physically abuse or coerce you at your workplace, it is illegal to do so. And there is a provision of punishment for this. You can lodge an FIR against that person in the nearest police station or call 112/ 1091 for immediate help. Raise your voice against such anti-social activities and cooperate with Delhi Police in stopping them or such activities. Delhi Police is with you because you are not alone.”

This is the exact word said by a lady police official in a video campaign by Delhi police against sexual abuses or exploitation on workplace. this video went viral on social media platform and netizens are praising the initiative.

Delhi police has started a campaign named “If you tease, you will not be spared” with #AkeleNahiHainAap tag line, against atrocities faced by women at workplace.

Delhi police tweeted a video and wrote, “Delhi Police – Safety, Equality, Respect! Delhi Police is committed at every moment to keep women safe from sexual exploitation. Do not tolerate sexual harassment and abuse in the workplace or office.”

People are supporting this initiative and reacting with lots of comment. A user said, “Absolutely very nice message…and if anyone taking the advantage of this…then FIR u/s 182 needs to be implemented….am i right sir??”

Laudable initiative from @DelhiPolice to spread awareness about sexual harassment at the workplace.
