Indian Forest Officer Parveen Kaswan has posted a rare video on Twitter of a Hoolock Gibbon (Hoolock hoolock, a primate from the gibbon family, Hylobatidae) – India’s only ape, walking like a human in Kaziranga National Park, Assam.

He further tweeted that they are very important seed disperser in forest. Hoolock Gibbons have declined by 90% during the last four decades and that they are now an endangered species as per IUCN Red List. In 2009, it was considered to be one of the 25 most endangered primates.
Twitter users were astonished watching the video and commented that they were not aware about the existence of the animal.
