August 4th marks the birth anniversary of one of the greatest and most versatile playback singers of India, Mr. Kishore Kumar, who is affectionately rendered as “Kishore Da.” Taking to X, Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) Officer Ananth Rupanagudi, shared a video where eighteen members of the Indian Whistlers’ Association jointly paid tribute to the legendary vocalist by whistling the tunes of the classic Hindi song, “Rim Jhim Gire Saawan,” from the timeless bollywood classic — ‘Manzil’ (1979).
