A post on X, formerly Twitter, is making rounds of social media and melting people’s hearts as well as taking them back to their own childhood, when life was all about playing and being ‘happy-go-lucky’. The post came from the X handle @Dwivedihd92, and @AmitKAnandIPS and @kannaujpolice were tagged on it. It mentions how a young boy’s joy turned into sadness on losing his cycle, and how Kannauj Police brought back smiles on his face by gifting him a new one.
Indian Masterminds contacted SP Kannauj, Amit Kumar Anand, IPS, who has been tagged in the post, to know about the incident. He said, “On 18 August, there was a huge ‘kanvad yatra’ in Kannauj district. A crowd of over 50-60 thousand people had gathered. Boarding Ground is a place here where ‘kanvadias’ assemble. In this crowd, a kid lost his bicycle and stated crying. Seeing the kid crying, Sub Inspector Devesh, who was on duty, helped him by gifting him a new bike. The kid was joyful!”
