In the Asola Bhati sanctuary, a beautiful lake called ‘Neeli Jheeli’ has been developed. It is basically a mining void which got filled up with ground water. This site has been developed as a ecotourism spot by Delhi’s forest & Environment department. Senior Indian Forest Services officer, Mr. Ramesh Pandey has shared images of this ‘Jheel’ on his social media account, providing information about this spot which is now becoming popular among tourists and Delhites, alike.

The 40-hectare site feature artificial waterfalls, selfie points, and trails, making it a perfect vacation spot. Facilities such as a cafeteria, golf carts, and electric cycles are also to be added soon.
