Indian Masterminds Stories

DGP Uttarakhand Ashok Kumar has shared on X a video of a man being saved by the timely action of a police constable and a home guard. The person who was travelling in a car suddenly started feeling pain on his chest and collapsed. The fellow travellers stopped the car near a temple, where Constable Sanjay Kumar and Home Guard Suresh were stationed. Understanding the gravity of the situation, they rushed to help.

Without wasting a second, one of them kept on doing CPR on him while the other asked the fellow passengers in the car to give mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. This helped as the person came out of his unconsciousness and started breathing on his own again.

Sharing the video on X, IPS officer Ashok Kumar gave appreciation to the two Uttarakhand police personnel for their timely action.

The video highlights the importance of learning life-saving skills like doing CPR and giving first aid. Having such knowledge can save a life, by keeping someone alive till the time they reach a hospital.
