Deputy Director of Buxa Tiger Reserve, Parveen Kaswan, has reposted two videos on X, that clearly show humans’ highly irresponsible and deplorable behaviour near wild animals.
In one video, people in crowded safari vehicles are seen hanging out to take close pics of a tiger walking on a trail and even speaking in loud tones creating a ruckus. In contrast, the lone tiger is seen walking in a dignified manner and pausing for a second, probably puzzled by the wild behaviour of the humans.
In another video, two young boys are seen teasing a wild elephant who, irked by their behaviour, is seen charging at them repeatedly as the boys run away. For the boys, it was a game they seemed to be enjoying very much, not bothered by the fact that they are endangering lives and disturbing the jumbo in his habitat.
Such reprehensible behaviour and actions are highly condemnable and go to show how we, humans, are yet to evolve to a humane being. In fact, there is so much to learn from the animal world, especially about respecting boundaries.

Identify the real animal here. Then these giants charge & we call them killers. Dont ever do this, it’s life threatening. Video is from Assam. pic.twitter.com/e1yltV4RQP
