In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Chhattisgarh government issued transfer and posting orders for four Indian Police Service (IPS) officers. The changes aim to strengthen law enforcement across the state and ensure better management of key districts.
The officers affected by the latest transfer orders are:
Rajesh Agrawal (IPS: 2012: CG) – Former SP of Kabirdham, Rajesh Agrawal has now been transferred to serve as the Assistant Inspector General (AIG) at the Police Headquarters (PHQ) in Nawa Raipur.
Dharmendra Singh Chawai (IPS: 2012: CG) – The Commandant of the 15th Battalion of the Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF) in Bijapur, Dharmendra Singh Chawai has been posted as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) for Kabirdham.
Mayank Gurjar (IPS: 2020: CG) – Previously serving as Additional SP in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, Mayank Gurjar has been transferred to the post of Additional SP in Bijapur.
Puja Kumar (IPS: 2020: CG) – Serving as Additional SP in Bijapur, Puja Kumar has been reassigned to the role of Additional SP in Dantewada.
These strategic transfers are part of the Chhattisgarh government’s efforts to enhance policing and administrative effectiveness across various regions.
