State-owned NBCC (India) Limited announced on Wednesday that it has secured a Rs. 316 crore contract for upgrading primary school hostels across Odisha. In a regulatory filing, NBCC stated, “The work of upgradation of Primary School Hostels (PSH) under the State Sector Scheme at various locations in Odisha, amounting to approximately Rs. 316 crore, has been awarded.”
The project was commissioned by the ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department of the Government of Odisha.
