The state government of Punjab has effected a minor reshuffle by ordering the transfer of two IPS officers. They are:
- Mohnish Chawla has been transferred as IGP, Excise & taxation, Punjab. He will also have additional charge of as IGP, STF, Punjab.
- Surinder Kumar Kalia has been posted IGP PAP-2, Jalandhar and additional charge as IGP IRB, Punjab, Patiala
