2011 batch IPS officer Mohammad Imran will be the new registrar in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). He has been appointed as the new Registrar on deputation for a period of two years. He is currently posted as SP (Railways) in Jhansi. Prior to this, he has worked in various important positions in the police department including the DGP office of Uttar Pradesh.
IPS Mohd Imran has served in the police department for more than 11 years. He has been awarded DG Commendation Disc Silver-2018 and DG Commendation Disc Silver-2019 in Police Services.
