Chairman N K Singh and Members of the 15th Finance Commission presented a copy of the Commission’s report for the period 2021-22 to 2025-26 to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On Monday, the 15 Finance Commission headed by Mr. NK Singh presented its report to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the next five years starting from 2020-21 to 2025-26.
The Commission also submitted the report titled ‘Finance Commission in COVID Times’ to the President of India Ram Nath Kovind on 9 November, and to the Finance Minister today on Tuesday 17.
Several members and the chairman of the Commission were present at the presentation which includes Chairman NK Singh along with Members of the Commission, Ajay Narayan Jha, Prof. Anoop Singh, Dr. Ashok Lahiri, Dr. Ramesh Chand, and Secretary to the Commission Arvind Mehta.
The report had not been made public yet and will be tabled in Parliament along with ‘Explanatory Memorandum’ by way of Action Taken Report as prescribed under the Constitution.
