UPSC Announces Annual Calender For 2024 Exams

The UPSC, or the Central Civil Service Commission, has issued the annual calendar for most of its recruitment-related examinations in 2024. The schedule comprises the dates of the Civil Services Exam prelims and mains, as well as prelim notification and registration dates. Interested candidates can obtain the entire schedule by visiting upsc.gov.in or the UPSC’s official website.

The UPSC Civil Services Exam will be held on May 26, 2024. The deadline for applying will be March 5, 2024. Preliminary examination implies pre-examination, the main examination means the main examination and the interview means an interview or three-stage examination will be done. Those who pass the preliminary exam will be invited to take the main exam. The exam will take place on September 20, 2024. Following which, the interview round will take place. Those dates will be announced following the results of the Mains test.

Since officers are selected in the Indian administrative system, the Civil Services Exam is a very prestigious exam. The annual exam schedule of UPSC includes the schedule of various exams like the Indian Forest Services Exam, NDA, CDS, Indian Engineering Services Exam, CISF AC (EXE), and LDCE-2023.

Notification of NDA / NA and CDS examination for recruitment in protection parties will be published by UPSC on 20 December 2024. Applications will be accepted till 9 ​​January 2024. NDA/NA/CDS (I) exam will be held on 21 April 2024, NDA/NA/CDS (II) exam will be held on 1 September, 2024.

It has been made clear by the UPSC that it is necessary to keep the admit card in a systematic manner till the final results of the examination are declared.
