A day after releasing the result of prestigious UPSC CSE-2022 exam, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Marks of Civil Services Final Examination. Candidate’s written exam marks, interview marks and the total — it is available online now.
This year, Ishita Kishore, the Greater Noida candidate who topped the exam, secured a total of 1094 marks, including 901 in the mains written exam and 193 in the interview. While second topper, Garima Lohia, got 876 marks in written test and 187 marks in interview, total 1063. Third, Uma Harathi N has scored 873 marks in written test and 187 marks in interview, total marks 1060.

Women candidates once again excelled securing the top fourt positions in UPSC CSE. There are six women in the Top 10. The top 25 successful candidates consisted of 14 women and 11 men, with diverse educational backgrounds ranging from engineering to humanities, medical science and commerce.
The interview in the final examination of UPSC Civil Services was held till May 18, 2023. The final result was released just 5 days later. This year 933 candidates have been selected of which 320 are girls. The marks of all the passed candidates have been released.
This year, out of the 1,011 vacancies, 180 vacancies are for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), 200 for Indian Police Service (IPS), 37 for Indian Foreign Services (IFS) and 92 for Indian Revenue Services (IRS). There are also 150 vacancies for the newly introduced service – the Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS).
The UPSC Civil Services Examination is one of the most prestigious and toughest examinations in India, conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to recruit suitable candidates for 17 civil services of India including IAS, IPS, IFS, and other allied services.
