UPSC Releases 2025 Exam Calendar: Check CSE, IES, ISS, & CMS Exam Dates, Notification Timeline, & Admit Card Details

New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the UPSC Annual Calendar 2025, outlining the detailed schedule of its upcoming examinations including the Indian Economic Service (IES), Indian Statistical Service (ISS), and Combined Medical Services (CMS).

Aspirants can now download the full exam calendar from the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in to plan their preparation effectively.

Key Highlights from UPSC Calendar 2025:

The UPSC Calendar 2025, published on November 7, 2024, contains the list of all major exams conducted by the Commission – including Civil Services, IFS, NDA, CDS, CAPF, and others – along with their respective notification dates, application deadlines, and exam schedules.

Civil Services Examination 2025:

  • Notification Release Date: January 22, 2025
  • Last Date to Apply: February 11, 2025
  • Prelims Exam Date: May 25, 2025
  • Mains Exam Start Date: August 22, 2025

IES & ISS Exam Dates and Vacancies:

According to the official schedule, the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examinations will be conducted on June 20, 21, and 22, 2025. The exams will be held in two shifts each day:

  • Morning Shift: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Afternoon Shift: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM

A total of 47 vacancies have been announced under this recruitment drive:

  • 12 posts for IES
  • 35 posts for ISS

Combined Medical Services (CMS) Examination 2025:

The CMS exam is scheduled for July 20, 2025, and will also be conducted in two shifts:

  • Morning Shift: 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM
  • Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

The recruitment will fill 705 medical officer posts across various departments and institutions in India.

Admit Card Release Dates:

  • IES & ISS Admit Cards: To be issued by second week of June 2025
  • CMS Admit Cards: Expected to be released around July 15, 2025

Candidates are required to arrive at the exam centers 30 minutes prior to the start of each shift. Late arrivals will not be permitted under any circumstances.

Representation on Question Papers:

The Commission has provided a 7-day window for candidates to raise objections to exam questions, starting from the day after the exam until 6:00 PM on the 7th day. Representations must be submitted exclusively via the Online Question Paper Representation Portal (QPRep) at:
https://upsconline.gov.in/miscellaneous/QPRep/
