In a major bureaucratic reshuffle in Gujarat, the Bhupendrabhai Patel-led state government transferred and posted 7 IAS officers.
1990 batch IAS officer Kamal Dayani has been appointed as full fledged ACS, General Administration Department. Along with this, he has been also made ACS, Revenue Department, Secretariat, Gandhinagar.
1990 batch IAS officer Manoj Kumar Das, who is Additional Chief Secretary of the Ports and Transport department, has been given additional charge of ACS Revenue Department as well as ACS Port and Transport Department.
Mona Khandhar, an lAS Officer of 1996 batch and Principal Secretary of the Finance Department (Economic Affairs), has been given the responsibility of Principal Secretary, Panchayat, Rural Housing and Rural Development Department. She has also been entrusted with the additional responsibility of Revenue Inspection Commissioner cum Principal Secretary of Revenue Department, ex-officio.
Her junior Arti Kanwar, an IAS officer of 2001 batch and Resident Commissioner to the Government of Gujarat in New Delhi, will replace Ms. Khandhar in the finance department.
