In another major bureaucratic rejig in Karnataka, the newly elected Siddaramaiah-led government has transferred and posted 14 IAS officers, just two days after the transfers of 10 IAS officers.

1989 batch IAS officer Jawaid Akhtar is placed in concurrent charge of the post of Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Health and Family Welfare Department (Medical Education), Bengaluru with immediate effect. He is presently Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Forest, Ecology & Environment Department, Bengaluru. IAS Naveen Raj Singh has been transferred from the health department.

2012 batch IAS officer B. C. Sateesha, who is currently Deputy Commissioner, Kodagu District, Madikeri has been transferred and posted as Executive Director, Suvarna Arogya Suraksha Trust, Bengaluru, relieving Dr. Shiva Shankara N., IAS from concurrent charge.
