In a big bureaucratic reshuffle in Rajasthan, the Ashok Gehlot led government has transferred and posted 22 IAS officers and 15 IFS officers across the state. Along with IAS & IFS officers, government has also transferred 24 IPS officers.
Overall, the transfer orders for 61 officers has been issued on 7 August night. In 14 of the newly formed 17 districts, orders have been issued to appoint only OSDs as Collectors and SPs.
2003 batch IAS officer Neeraj K Pawan has been made Banswara Divisional Commissioner, while 2008 batch IAS officer Dr. Mohan Lal Yadav made Sikar Divisional Commissioner.
Vandana Singhvi, an IAS officer of 2008 batch, will be serving as Pali Divisional Commissioner. Shruti Bhardwaj, an IAS officer of 2013 batch and previously the director of insurance and provident fund, appointed as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Neem Ka Thana.
Jaipur Collector and 2010 batch IAS officer Prakash Rajpurohit has been given additional charge of collector as Jaipur Rural, while 2012 batch IAS officer and Jodhpur Collector Himashu Gupta has been given additional charge of Jodhpur Rural district.
2014 batch IAS officer Alpa Choudhary (RAS-1996), previously serving as the Secretary of the Housing Board, has been appointed once again to the same position.
2010 batch IAS officer Rajendra Vijay will be new District Collector and Magistrate of Balotra district, while IAS officer Khajan Singh (RAS-1996) made District Collector and Magistrate, Kekri.
At the same time, Vishram Meena and Harjilal Atal have also been posted as special officers in Jaipur Rural, which were divided from Jaipur and Jodhpur.
In the IFS category, Begaram Jat has been assigned additional responsibility as the Chief Conservator of Forests, Wildlife, Jodhpur. Similarly, Sunil has been appointed as the Chief Conservator of Forests, Pali.
