1996 batch IPS officer of Karnataka cadre, Mr Bijay Kumar Singh has been repatriated to his home cadre, ahead of his scheduled term.
He was serving as the Executive Director (Pers) (JS level) in the Food Corporation of India (FCI). His repatriation is based on the grounds of availing promotion within his cadre.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on 11th of October, 2023, this action was taken in response to the Department of Food and Public Distribution’
proposal, which was approved by the competent authority.
