DG, ITBP Anish Dayal Singh Given Addl Charge, Made DG, CRPF

With the impending retirement of 1988 batch IPS officer S.I. Thaosen on November 30, 2023, Mr. Singh is set to assume this new role

1988 batch IPS officer Anish Dayal Singh, who is presently holding the position of Director General (DG) of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), has been entrusted with an additional responsibility as the DG of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). With the impending retirement of 1988 batch IPS officer S.I.. Thaosen on November 30, 2023, Mr. Singh is set to assume this new role.

As per an official order from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) issued on November 29, 2023, the Competent Authority has approved Mr. Singh’s appointment to the additional charge. He will hold this position until the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders are issued, whichever occurs earlier.
